Nine years ! Nine years have already gone by since Le Maquis started to travel the world's various music horizons, feverishly ploughing through all of yesterday's and tomorrow's styles. Started in Paris in May 1998 by Philippe Pierre-Adolphe, this label federates artists from all countries (France, UK, Belgium, Dutch, Swiss, Scandinavia, Russia, USA, Marocco, India, Africa…) and generations. Definitely cosmopolitan and avant-garde, Le Maquis is no doubt the most creative and innovative independent French label, internationally recognized for the quality of its artists and productions which are distributed in 40 countries worldwide.
